Since the release of the 2018-2020 Biennial Report, the Staff Ombuds Office has presented systemic recommendations to advance workplace equity and inclusion and gather input from nine campus groups, including:

- Constituent Board(link is external) (Developing a More Equitable and Inclusive Environment for Staff Initiative)

- Managers’ Forum(link is external)
- Native & Indigenous Council(link is external)
Most recently, Director and Ombudsperson Sara Thacker presented at the September Managers' Forum. If you were unable to attend, you can watch a recording(link is external) of this presentation here. The presentation included the polling of approximately 200 managers around issues addressed in the report, including:
- Improving processes and procedures to enhance pay equity.
- Decreasing structural barriers limiting access to compliance resources that address inequities.
- Promoting equitable and inclusive environments through changes to discrimination policy and procedures.
- Leveraging Berkeley faculty expertise and financial resources to advance equity and inclusion in the workplace.
