The Staff Ombuds Office is thrilled to welcome our new Associate Ombudsperson Lauren Bloom to UC Berkeley. Lauren comes to our campus with more than 15 years of experience in conflict management and the ombuds profession.
Lauren is a Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner. She previously served as Ombuds at The University of Texas at Austin and at the Texas State Lottery Commission where she was actively engaged as the co-chair of the Ombuds of Texas organization and a founding member of what is now called the Texas Organizational Ombuds Practitioner Association. Most recently, Lauren worked for the City of Madison in its Employee Assistance Program. To learn more about Lauren, please see our Staff page.
Lauren looks forward to working at UC Berkeley and helping employees find problem-solving solutions and conflict resolution strategies that effectively address workplace concerns.
